Becoming a Member-owner
By joining the Co-op you can make a commitment to supporting an alternatively owned business in which member-owners actively participate in shaping the priorities and direction of the cooperative. Your investment entitles you to vote on critical issues and elect members to the Board of Directors. You may volunteer in the store to earn a 10 percent discount on your purchases and get to know your Co-op better. If you do not have the time to volunteer, you will receive a non-working member discount of 2 percent. We encourage you to take advantage of valuable discounts at other shops and businesses in our community through the Co-op Connection.

Responsibilities of Membership
- Stay informed via the newsletter
- Participate through voting, completing surveys, and providing informal feedback
- Purchase a $20 share annually or 15 shares at once ($300) to become a Co-op Partner, providing critical capital for new services and equipment
Volunteers are a valuable part of our operation. Most volunteers choose to work in the bulk department dividing large quantities of food into smaller portions. Our working membership is simple and flexible. The Coop retains the right to control the amount of hours scheduled by member workers. Each hour worked earns a 10 percent discount on $90 worth of groceries. You may switch from a non-working to a working membership at any time. Co-op Partners
We invite you to become a Co-op Partner. If you choose to purchase all 15 shares at once for $300, you will receive a MNFC 100% cotton canvas bag.
The coop connection is an additional benefit to your membership which allows you to get discounts on products and services at participating local business.
